Come and enjoy a Celebration of Italian Culture and Heritage at the Stirling Civic Gardens, Cedric Street, Stirling.

The Inaugural event proudly supported by the City of Stirling presents an Italian Festival named “Colours of Italy” to celebrate the rich history of Italians living in WA. It will bring together the Italian community and showcase Italian culture and food to the broader Perth community.

The food festivities will provide traditional Italian cuisine such as an Italian sausage sizzle BBQ breakfast with a cappuccino to start the day (part proceeds of the breakfast will go to Heartkids). There will be lots of pizza, pasta, gelato, coffee and biscotti just to name a few. Plus food demonstrations from our local Italian celebrities and cooks, so we can all learn how to cook like Nonna!

Kids can enjoy lots of amusements such as soccer, bocce, face painting, yard games and much more.

Live entertainment will give our local Italian talents an opportunity to shine, from music including opera singing, dance and theatre to a broad cross-section of the performing arts, all performed on the main stage with the relaxed surrounds for patrons to sit in the grounds and partake of the performances on offer.

Our roving accordion player, will also be mixing it up with young and old throughout the day. There will be a display of Italian luxury vehicles and Italian motor bikes as well as an Italian artisan market.

The day will provide an opportunity to reconnect with families and friends whilst absorbing the Italian culture and history. This event is also a day for our local Italian Clubs in the Stirling area to showcase what they have on offer including delightful sweet treats that are synonymous with their region.

This event is organised and kindly supported by local Italian Clubs in the Stirling Area:
• Laguna Veneto Social & Bocce Club (Dianella)
• Sicilian Club Perth (Balcatta)
• Tuscany Association (Balcatta)

Proudly supported by Com.It.Es WA.
