A celebration of Italy’s rich culture and heritage while showcasing modern Italy to a broader audience, the Colours of Italy festival is WA’s only dedicated Italian community festival. From music, arts and dance through to modern-day Italian motor vehicle displays, demonstrations, family fun entertainment, and of course, food.

Italian migrants and their families born in Australia have contributed greatly to the community and to the development and culture of Western Australia. This festival celebrates our rich history and showcases Italian culture to the broader community, providing a unique connection between tradition and innovation, thus offering a vivid picture of Italy nowadays.
Since the ongoing pandemic makes it difficult to travel to Italy, the event is also an opportunity for non-Italians to enjoy a weekend out with their friends and families and to soak up the sights, sounds and tastes of another culture, helping bridge the cultural divide and bringing the community together.

Colours of Italy is produced by Italian Communities Perth Inc.
